Letters prioritises your privacy. Here’s how we keep your data secure:
- Transcriptions & Audio: All audio is transcribed in real-time on our secure Sydney servers. Audio files are hard-deleted immediately following processing, and all audio is processed without leaving Australia. Only the resulting transcript is stored.
- LLM Processing: Processing occurs on Microsoft Azure servers in Sydney. Our models are deployed in adhere to Azure Data Residency Promise, ensuring no user data is stored or processed outside of Australia, or used for training purposes.

Patient consent is required before every consultation. We make it easy by providing a customisable consent form for your clinic. You can place in the reception of the clinic or in your room for patients to read and feel comfortable that their data is secure.When using consultation mode for the first time, you will be prompted to download the consent forms. They are also available in the resource centre.
